After working as a Motor Mechanic and MOT Tester for some 12 years, Onyx Software's lead developer fancied a change. Having secured a position within the local authority he was able to fully exercise his passion for computers and particularly software development and it wasn't long before he had designed and written a full new licensing system for the authority. This system has been in daily use, in a mission critical, multi user environment for over 6 years now, dealing with the personal data of well over 10,000 people and processing in excess of £600,000 worth of transactions annually. We understand how important data is, how reliant people are on their chosen software systems, and how its failure could affect people none of which we take lightly.
